A post in the unaffiliated r/Wealthsimple community reported being unable to replace a lost Wealthsimple prepaid Mastercard. Wealthsimple's help pages say it is not accepting new or replacement physical-card requests while it works on changes to the prepaid card.
Wealthsimple directs clients to contact support about a lost, stolen, or damaged card and says it will lock a lost or stolen card. Its virtual prepaid card remains available for online purchases and can be added to a supported digital wallet, but that is not equivalent to a physical card for every use, including ordinary card access at an ATM.
The request page says there is no timeline to share, while the replacement page says new physical cards will be available in the coming weeks. Neither statement gives a firm availability date. Wealthsimple offers a notification form for when physical cards return.
