Tangerine's $250 payroll welcome offer is for new clients whose client number is created from May 1, 2024 through October 31, 2026. They must open a Tangerine Chequing Account as primary holder within 60 days and receive the first qualifying payroll deposit within 60 days after opening.
The full payroll must be deposited, eligible deposits must total at least $200 a month, and deposits must continue for two consecutive months. Tangerine identifies payroll-coded deposits such as wages, pensions, Employment Insurance, Old Age Security, CPP, workers' compensation and certain income benefits; ordinary transfers do not qualify.
The $250 is paid in the following month after the conditions are met. It is limited to one per client and cannot be combined with another Tangerine chequing cash-bonus offer.
