Simplii's No Fee Chequing Account welcome offer combines two rewards ending September 30, 2026. The $300 cash offer began December 18, 2024; the $50 digital Skip gift-card offer began September 3, 2025.
For either reward, an eligible Canadian resident of the age of majority must open their first qualifying account as primary holder and, within 120 days, receive at least $100 a month in eligible recurring direct deposits for three consecutive months. Payroll, pension, Old Age Security, disability and government payroll deposits can qualify; transfers between accounts and Interac e-Transfers do not.
The offers have different prior-client tests: the cash offer excludes anyone who held a Simplii product as primary holder on or before June 18, 2024, while the gift-card offer uses March 1, 2025. The cash arrives within three business days after completion. The gift card is sent by the end of the following month, requires a valid email address, and the account must remain open, active, in good standing and unconverted for one year after its opening month.
