Scotia iTRADE Summer Offer

Three people sitting together beside the ocean.

Scotia iTRADE describes a Summer Offer with cash rewards on net new assets. New clients must use code SUM26 when applying, while existing clients can enrol through the offer form. Enrolment must be completed by August 31, 2026, and at least $2,500 in cash or assets must be transferred by September 30, 2026.

Transfers from a financial institution outside the Scotiabank group receive 1% cash back, capped at $6,000. Transfers from within the Scotiabank group receive $25 on $2,500 to $4,999, $50 on $5,000 to $24,999, $125 on $25,000 to $49,999, $250 on $50,000 to $249,999, $450 on $250,000 to $499,999, $900 on $500,000 to $999,999, $1,800 on $1 million to $1,999,999, or $3,000 on $2 million or more. The two cash components can be combined, but their total cannot exceed $6,000.

Qualifying amounts are aggregated across the client's eligible accounts. Withdrawals and transfers out of any Scotia iTRADE account during the qualifying period reduce the relevant external or Scotiabank-group amount under detailed allocation rules. RESP grants, interest, dividends, ordinary market changes and account fees do not increase the qualifying amount, while RIF withdrawals, including required minimum payments, reduce it. The qualifying amount must remain through July 30, 2027; the cash reward is due by August 31, 2027 and is paid to a non-registered account where available, otherwise to a registered account.

New clients can also receive a rebate of up to $9.99 per eligible stock, ETF or option trade placed from initial funding through December 31, 2026, provided at least $2,500 remains through that date. Only trades placed, or last modified before filling, in the Scotia iTRADE mobile app qualify. Option contract charges and trades placed or later modified on web, by phone or on another platform are excluded. The CAD lump-sum rebate, including converted USD commissions, is due by January 29, 2027.

The offer is limited to one enrolment per client for personal accounts and one for non-personal accounts; only the primary holder of a joint account receives the reward. It cannot be combined with StartRight or Affinity offers. When it overlaps another Scotia iTRADE promotion, withdrawals are applied first to the most recently enrolled offer, and this offer's commission rebates are fulfilled after rebates under other qualifying Scotia iTRADE offers. The client remains responsible for any tax consequences.
