RBC sets out a New eSavings Client Bonus Interest Rate Offer for accounts opened from June 12 through 3 p.m. Eastern on October 27, 2026. The primary owner must be an adult Canadian resident who had not been the primary owner of an RBC High Interest eSavings Account before the offer began. Switching another RBC account into the product does not qualify.
At launch, the annual bonus rate was 4.05% and the regular rate was 0.55%, producing the advertised 4.60% combined rate. Both components can change without notice. The bonus applies for 90 days from account opening, is calculated daily and paid monthly on up to $1 million. Any amount above that cap receives only the regular rate, as does the full balance after day 90.
Only the first qualifying account per client receives the offer, and it cannot be combined with another promotional rate on the same account. Closing or switching the account before a monthly bonus payment forfeits that month's accrued bonus. The account must remain active, in good standing and without a restraint; interest is taxable, and RBC says it will issue a T5 when reportable interest reaches the applicable threshold.
