Meridian Credit Union is offering a Business Advantage Plus Savings Account rate boost for accounts opened from July 6 through September 30, 2026. The promotion adds 1.50 percentage points to the posted annual rate for 184 days after account opening.
The business member cannot currently hold a Business Advantage Plus Savings Account or have held one during the preceding six months. One new account per member qualifies, and the account must remain active, current on fees and otherwise in good standing.
The bonus applies to balances up to $5 million, is calculated daily and paid monthly with the posted interest. Excess funds are moved to a separate account that earns only the posted rate. After 184 days, the entire balance continues at the posted rate without the bonus.
Personal, chequing and other savings-account types do not qualify. Meridian says the promotion cannot be combined with another offer unless it permits otherwise, and it can change either the bonus or posted rate without notice.
