EQ Bank announced The Grand Scan Contest and three in-store pop-ups as part of its PC Optimum partnership. The national contest runs from August 13 through 26, 2026 and awards one prize of 25 million PC Optimum points.

Eligible entrants must be Canadian residents, including Quebec, who have reached the age of majority, hold a digitally registered PC Optimum account in their own name and use the PC Optimum app. One entry is awarded after downloading weekly offers and spending at least $20 before tax and fees in one eligible transaction at a participating banner, with a digital app or wallet scan for in-store purchases. Plastic cards and key tags do not qualify. A no-purchase entry is available through the official email form. Both methods share a limit of 100 entries per account.

The prize is stated as 25 million points, with a redemption value of $25,000. A random draw is scheduled for September 3, and the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question and complete verification before becoming the winner. Separate Spin-to-Win pop-ups are scheduled in Toronto from August 13 to 16, Vancouver from August 20 to 23, and Calgary from August 27 to 30.
