BMO's Practical Plan new-account offer pays $150 to eligible new chequing customers who open the account from August 7 through November 2, 2026. The Practical Plan does not qualify for the campaign's separate Savings Amplifier or My Financial Progress bonuses.
The customer must deposit any amount by November 2. By December 31, the account must receive a recurring direct deposit of at least $500 and complete either two online bill payments of at least $50 to different payees or two pre-authorized debits of at least $50 from different payees.
The account must remain open on an eligible plan and in good standing when BMO pays the bonus, which is due by June 30, 2027. It must then remain open on an eligible plan through November 2, 2027.
